During April-June 2015, COERR Mae Sot followed up the vulnerable families and found that many parents were in difficulties finding money to pay for their children’s school fees and uniform. Some had to work harder to get more money before school opening. There were also a lot of children who did not go to school due to many reasons. Therefore, COERR managed to provide some sponsorship funds for 121 children, and school uniforms for 224 needy children. The Saturday Activities were also organized for children to attend, in which they would enjoy the activities and atmosphere of learning together with other children in order to enable them to adjust themselves when they go to school.
